About H.L. Bennett & Associates

We are Civil Engineering, Surveying and Mapping and Construction Company located in LaBelle, FL.  We have been in business since 1991 and have over 45 years of working in South and Central Florida.

This is a family owned company run by the founder H.L. "Larry" Bennett.  Mr. Bennett is a long time resident of LaBelle and Hendry County.  He has served on numerous boards over the years, as well as he was LaBelle's City Manager for a time in the mid-to late 70's.  Mr. Bennett holds a Civil Engineering and Land Surveying License.  Mr. Bennett was one of the original partners that formed Aim Engineering and Surveying in 1980.  

Mr. Bennett's son, Hal Bennett is a 1994 LaBelle High School graduate.  Hal went to Cumberland College in Williamsburg, Kentucky on a football and academic scholarship and graduated in 1998 with a degree in Business Administration.  Hal then attended the University of Florida, where in 2001, he graduated with a degree in Geomatics (Surveying and Mapping).  Hal is also a football coach for LaBelle High School and has been since 2004, with a brief stint at Naples High School from 2015 to 2019.  Hal is the Defensive Coordinator for the high school football team and enjoys coaching and mentoring young people in the LaBelle community.  Hal earned his Surveyors License in 2007 and has been the head of the Surveying and Mapping Department since then.  

H.L. Bennett & Associates, Inc. donates to several youth sports leagues and charities throughout our area, both in LaBelle, Moore Haven and Clewiston.  These include LaBelle Pop Warner, LaBelle Little League, LaBelle Junior Prop, The LaBelle Quarterback Club, the Southwest Florida Heros Foundation and many others.
