Macroinvertebrates

There was no new rain from yesterday, but a lot of mud. I noticed a lot of water skeeters, probably at least eight around the slower moving water. I wasn't able to get many bugs within four samples, but still did find at least one per sample, so hopefully that can show something, even if its not enough to get a lot of the information. Also spent the entire time hoping I didn't somehow find a leech. Still a bit annoying I couldn't find many macroinvertebrates, but maybe it's a combination of a low population and what macroinvertebrates there were got washed downstream. It also could've been because there was a decently high embededness, and I'm very close to the headwater.
