"I'm going to upload a newsletter once a week" she said....one month later.
In my defence, there's been a few things happening which I shall now list off in chronological order:
1. I finished reading the beasts of the briar series and I'm now waiting fro the final book to come out in october.
2. I managed to get a new bookcase in order to fit a desk in my room, which I am yet to get.
3. I reread When the moon hatched before reading the second book which, by the way, was absolute cinema
I know schools start back up in the uk next week so good luck to anyone who's in school still!
EXITING NEWS!!! I'm currently working on a dark Asylum based romance which is a reverse harem! It's currently in the early stages of planning but hopefully I can share more soon!
If you are keeping up to date in my instagram channel, you'll know I send a little message to say that the cover reveal for Fatal Lies is only for the hardback and the paperback is yet to be confirmed (I'm working on it!) and I hope I can share that soon! Speaking of Fatal Lies, I currently have more artwork being made!
Since you all havent had a newsletter in a hot minute, how about I make it up to you by giving you another exerpt?
Enjoy!

About an hour later, we’re sprawled across my bedroom floor surrounded by takeaway containers and notebooks while old footage continues playing silently across my laptop.
Alexis briefly appeared once to steal fries and stare at Ophelia and me suspiciously before leaving again muttering something about “disgustingly obvious tension.”
Traitor.
Ophelia now sits cross legged against the side of my bed wearing my hoodie while eating noodles from a carton balanced on her knee.
I am suffering.
Actual suffering.
Because every single thing she does feels unfairly attractive. The way she tucks hair behind her ear while concentrating. The tiny crease between her brows when thinking. The soft laugh she makes whenever I say something stupid.
At some point she catches me staring again.
“What?”
“Nothing.”
“You’re doing the thing.”
“What thing?”
“The staring thing.”
I smirk slightly. “Maybe I just like looking at you.”
The second the words leave my mouth, silence falls. Oh. Fuck.
Ophelia stills completely.
Heat rises slowly into her cheeks while her eyes remain locked on mine.
For one terrifying second, I think maybe I pushed too far. Then she looks down quickly at her food. And something about the shy movement sends my heartbeat completely out of control.
Jesus Christ.

I know technically it's only been a few days and not even a full week after my first newsletter, but I can't keep this to myself any longer!!
If you've been following my TikTok, you'll know that I've been telling you all to look out on my newsletter for an early cover reveal and here it is! I worked with the amazing Crown & Quill designs (@crownandquilldesigns on TikTok and Instagram) who did an amazing job of creating this cover! Honestly, because I'm a small indie author who currently is unemployed (boo the UK job market), I don't exactly have hundreds to spend on a cover but C&Q are an amazing budget service for indie authors!
The two posts I'm about to show you will be posted on my Instagram early and then I'll post it on TikTok next week, so when those come out, show them some love!
Another writing update: I've currently been in a massive slump with writing because I've been hooked on a new book series called Beasts of The Briar by Helen Elizabeth. Its currently my favourite reverse harem series of all time! After reading this series, which I think I still have two or three more books of, I need to reread Nightshade by Autumn Woods, which is another AMAZING book I would recommend, before reading Daybreak which came out on the 27th so I can't wait to read that! (All books mentioned I would advise being 18+ as they have quite a bit of sexual content).
On that note as well, as you can tell from newsletter one, Fatal Lies is very much NOT pg13 and has some spicy content which might not be suitable for younger audiences.
Anyway, I think I've been going on for too long. So without further ado....the cover for Fatal Lies...

Official Fatal Lies art
Wooo!! My first EVER newsletter!! It's so weird to be able to sit down and type these words! As you all can see, I've finally managed to stop procrastinating and finish this website! I'll finally have somewhere to update you all on the progress of Fatal Lies!
The first thing I want to say is thank you all so much for six thousand followers on TikTok! I'm actually so grateful for all the love and support I've been shown throughout the process of writing and editing (even though I'm not finished yet).
It actually makes me laugh at the analytics of when I started posting about a little sapphic book I started writing. The views and follows absolutely skyrocketed so I knew that I had to go through with this project.
Fun Fact: I started writing Fatal Lies after watching a show on Netflix called Friendly Rivalry in December 2025, which, is one of the few K-dramas I've watched all the way through (as well as My Name). Both shows are amazing and you should 100% check them out. Additionally, I knew I didn't just want to write a romance, so I looked around my room, crammed with books, and A Girls Guide to Murder caught my eye. I'm a huge sucker for Holly Jackson and I thought "Pip and Ravi but make them daughters of billionaires who are are enemies" and that was kind of the baseline for the idea of the book.
I was so dedicated to writing this, I bought a brand new notebook from TikTok shop that has about 700 and something pages and feels like a brick. Seeing the pages of planning as a physical book (albeit unedited and not formatted) with over five hundred pages of your own words!!! To put it into context, Saving Bella was my debut novel and is around 50k words and about 250 pages. Fatal Lies is twice the word count (currently sitting at 107k) and twice the number of pages (currently sitting at 537).
So far in my writing career, the piece of art I commissioned of the two main characters of Fatal Lies, Ophelia and Leighton, is possibly the best money I've ever spent!
I can't wait to share more about this book in the future but for now you'll have to settle with a current release date of January 2027....... and also a spicy teaser (please note I'm in the editing process so parts of this scene may change or be removed entirely).
Enjoy!

"Keep playing," I say softly, my voice low enough that only she can hear. "Or I'll stop."
Her breath catches, but her fingers return to the keys. Good girl. I take my time. I've learned that anticipation is half the pleasure, that the slow build is often better than the release. My hand moves up her thigh with deliberate slowness, feeling the warmth of her skin through the thin fabric of her dress. She's trembling slightly, and I can feel her trying to maintain focus on the music.
"Leighton—" she starts, but I cut her off.
"Play, Ophelia."
The command in my voice makes her shiver, and I file that away for later. She likes being told what to do. She likes surrendering control.
My hand reaches the hem of her dress and slides beneath it. Her skin is soft, warm, and I trace patterns on her inner thigh, feeling her muscles tense. The music continues, but I can hear the slight hesitation in her playing now, the way she's struggling to concentrate.
"Someone could see," she whispers, and there's fear in her voice but also excitement.
"Then you'd better keep playing convincingly." My fingers find the edge of her underwear, and I trace along the lace. "Wouldn't want to draw attention."
I slip my fingers beneath the lace, and the first touch of her wetness makes my own body clench with want. She's soaked. Absolutely drenched. And we've barely started.
"You're wet," I breathe against her ear, letting my lips brush her skin. "How long have you been wet for me, Ophelia?"
She doesn't answer. Can't answer. But her body tells me everything I need to know. She's been wanting this, probably since the first time we got locked in that fucking closet.
I slide my fingers through her wetness, circling her clit with light pressure, and I feel her whole body tense. The music falters slightly, and I smile against her ear.
"The tempo's all over the place," I observe, clinical, as if I'm critiquing her legal briefs and not currently touching her pussy. "Focus."
She tries. God, she tries so hard. But I'm not making it easy for her. I increase the pressure, my fingers moving in slow, deliberate circles, and I can feel her thighs trembling. The music becomes more erratic, less controlled, and I love it. I love watching her composure crack, watching the perfect, professional Ophelia come undone.
"Look at you," I murmur, and I mean it. She's gorgeous like this—flushed, desperate, trying so hard to maintain her focus. "So fucking beautiful. So soaked for me.."
It's true. That first deposition, when she'd stood up and objected to my line of questioning, her voice steady despite the nervousness in her eyes—I'd wanted to bend her over the table right then. Wanted to show her what it felt like to lose control, to surrender to something bigger than duty and propriety.
I slide one finger inside her, and the music stops completely. Her hands freeze over the keys.
"Ophelia." I make my voice sharp, commanding. "Play."
She forces her fingers to move, but the melody is broken now, stuttering. I add a second finger, stretching her, and I have to suppress my own moan at how tight she is, how her body clenches around me. She's so responsive, so perfectly reactive to every touch.
I can hear how wet she is, the obscene sound of my fingers moving in and out, and I know she can hear it too. Know she's aware that anyone walking by could hear it. The risk should cool her arousal, but I can feel her getting wetter, can feel her body opening for me.
"That's it," I encourage, my lips against her ear. "Keep going. You're doing so well, baby."
The praise makes her clench around my fingers, and I file that away too. She responds to praise, to approval. She wants to be good for me.
I'm going to use that.
But right now, I need more. Need to taste her. I've been thinking about it for months—what she'd taste like, how she'd sound when she came, whether she'd be quiet or loud or somewhere in between.
I withdraw my fingers, and she makes a small, desperate sound that goes straight to my clit. I'm so turned on I'm aching, but this isn't about me. Not yet. Right now, this is about showing Ophelia what she's been missing, what she's been denying herself.
I slide off the bench and onto my knees in front of her.....
