This Privacy Policy aims to inform you, in a transparent and detailed manner, how the gzu platform collects, stores, uses, and protects the personal data of its users. By using gzu, you declare that you are aware of the terms described herein, which have been prepared in compliance with the General Personal Data Protection Law (Law No. 13,709/2018 - LGPD) and other applicable Brazilian legislations.
gzu acts as the Data Controller regarding registration and navigation information on the platform. This policy applies to all users, whether they are Professionals (service providers) or Clients (service seekers).
To properly provide intermediation services, we collect the following data:
Registration Data: We collect your full name, email address, phone number, and password. These data are essential for the execution of the platform's terms of use and for user identification and authentication.
Location Data: We collect the approximate geolocation of your device. This information is used to locate professionals and services near you, facilitating search and hiring. The legal basis for this processing is your consent or the performance of the requested service.
Media and Files: With your prior authorization, we access and collect profile and portfolio photos that you choose to share. These data are used to personalize your profile and showcase the services you offer or consume on the platform.
Financial Data: We collect information regarding transaction history and subscription status (when applicable). These data are used for payment management, billing, and fraud prevention. Note: Full credit card details are not stored on our servers; they are processed exclusively by the payment gateways of Apple (App Store) and Google (Play Store).
Technical Data: We collect device identifiers (such as Firebase Installation IDs), error logs, and diagnostic data. These data are used for platform security, technical support, and continuous improvement of the app's performance and stability.
gzu recognizes the importance of protecting the data of children and adolescents.
Under 18s: May use the platform exclusively as Clients, provided they are assisted or represented by their parents or legal guardians, in accordance with Brazilian civil law.
Data Processing: The processing of minors' data will be carried out in their best interest. Should we identify the unintentional collection of data from children (under 12 years old) without specific consent from a guardian, we will proceed with the immediate deletion of such information.
Professional Restriction: Registration as a Professional is restricted to individuals aged 18 or over or those who are legally emancipated.
We do not sell personal data. Sharing occurs only when strictly necessary for operations:
Between Users: Name and location are shared between Client and Professional to enable scheduling.
Service Providers: Google Play Services, Firebase (Analytics and Crashlytics), and Apple App Store, for infrastructure and analysis purposes.
Court Orders: To comply with legal obligations or requests from competent authorities.
In accordance with Art. 18 of the LGPD, users have the right to:
Confirm the existence of processing and access their data.
Correct incomplete, inaccurate, or outdated data.
Request the permanent deletion of their data (available at: Settings > Security > Delete Account).
Revoke consent at any time for specific purposes.
We adopt technical and administrative measures capable of protecting personal data from unauthorized access and from accidental or unlawful situations of destruction, loss, alteration, or disclosure. Although we use rigorous security protocols, absolute security in the digital environment cannot be guaranteed against sophisticated cyberattacks.
Data is retained for the period necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this policy or to comply with legal obligations (such as the Brazilian Civil Rights Framework for the Internet / Marco Civil da Internet, which requires keeping logs for 6 months).
