Overview

My research focuses on statistical learning for complex spatio-temporal processes. For example, I have concentrated on statistical learning for advection-diffusion processes and spatio-temporal point processes, as well as their applications in wildfire smoke propagation and wildfire risk quantification for power delivery networks. I aim to develop innovative physics-informed data-driven methodologies to address high-impact challenges in environment, energy, and other critical systems. My research seeks to generate actionable insights that enhance the resilience and sustainability of these systems, especially in the face of increasingly frequent and severe extreme natural events.
