GymTea (“the App”) is provided by Gilad Halle (“we,” “our,” or “us”) to help users log and track workouts efficiently. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data.

Account Information: When you sign up, we collect your email address and authentication details via Firebase Authentication (including Google Sign-In or Apple Sign-In if you choose those methods).
Workout Data and Nutrition Data: When you log workouts, exercises, meals, foods, nutrition information, calories, macronutrients, and related notes, this data is stored securely in our database.
Profile Information: If you upload a profile picture or other optional details, we store these securely.
Automatically Collected Data: We may collect limited diagnostic information such as crash reports and app performance data through Firebase services to improve stability and reliability.
Health and Nutrition Data (Optional): With your permission, GymTea may access or process health and fitness-related data such as:

This data may come from your direct input within GymTea or from services such as Health Connect (Android) or Apple Health (iOS). GymTea uses this data to provide insights, tracking features, statistics, and personalized experiences within the app.

How We Use Information
To provide and improve the core functionality of logging and tracking workouts.

To provide activity tracking, recovery insights, and personalized coaching recommendations based on step and sleep data (if enabled).
Data Sharing
GymTea does not sell your personal data.
Health, workout, and nutrition data may be shared with other users (such as trainers or approved followers) only if you choose to enable such features within the app. You remain in control and can disable sharing at any time.
Your Control and Choices
You can:
Grant or revoke access to health data (such as steps and sleep) at any time through your device settings
Choose whether to share your data with trainers or other users
Request deletion of your data as described below

We keep your workout data for as long as your account is active.
You can request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us at gilad.halle@gmail.com. Upon request, we will permanently delete your account information and related workout data from our systems.
Children’s Privacy
The App is intended for general use by people aged 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
