COMMON QUESTIONS
Where is my data stored?
GymMaster stores workout data locally on your iPhone. If private iCloud synchronization is available, your data may also synchronize through
your private iCloud database.
GymMaster does not use a developer-operated account or server.
Is iCloud required?
No. GymMaster remains usable with local storage when iCloud is unavailable. You can check synchronization status in GymMaster Settings.
How do I enable Apple Health?
Open GymMaster Settings and enable Apple Health integration. GymMaster requests access only to save, update, and remove workouts it created.
If access was previously denied, manage it in the Health app or iPhone Settings.
Why didn’t I receive a rest notification?
Open GymMaster Settings and confirm that rest notifications are enabled. Then check iPhone Settings → Notifications → GymMaster.
The in-app rest timer continues to work when notification permission is denied. Rest notifications are intentionally silent.
How do I add a machine photo?
Open Library → Machines, create or edit a machine, and choose Take Photo or Choose from Photos.
Camera and Photos access is requested only when you select the corresponding action. A photo is optional.
How do I back up or transfer my data?
Open GymMaster Settings and use Export to create a .workoutlog package. Store the package somewhere private because it can contain workout notes
and machine photos.
Use Import to review a package before applying it. Importing does not automatically replace conflicting local records.
How do I delete my data?
Use Reset All Data in GymMaster Settings. Carefully review whether you also want GymMaster-created Apple Health copies removed.
Deleting the app removes its local data. Data already synchronized through private iCloud or exported to files may require separate removal.
COMPATIBILITY
GymMaster requires iOS 17 or later. iOS 17 compatibility has not been independently validated for this release.
