People have trouble exercising when they are disabled due to their inaccessibility to equipment and as a result they lose the benefits of exercise.

This a website that is specifically designed for people with disabilities or people with limited mobility. Some terrific facts I learned were,
This article said that the disabled person who is trying to exercise should ask their doctor or physical therapist these 4 questions; “How much exercise can I do each day and each week? What type of exercise should I do? What exercises or activities should I avoid? Should I take medication at a certain time around my exercise routine?”
The website also included suggestions of how to stay motivated when exercising. For instance, if the barrier to exercise was that the person who was exercising was afraid of getting an injury, the suggestion was, “Choose low-risk activities, such as walking or chair-bound exercises, and warm-up and cool-down correctly to avoid muscle strains and other injuries.”
Our Website is going to have a map of Pittsburgh or Allegany county, with a search feature where you can search your different disabilites, like if you are in a wheelchair, you can search "Wheelchair Gyms," and find gyms with wheelchair exercise eqipment. We might also add tips on exercise or healthy food to eat.
