Xinghua Gao (郜兴华)

I'm currently a Project Research Fellow at KIAS, under the advisory of Prof. Sang-hyun Kim.

I receive my Ph.D in mathematics from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2019. My advisor is Prof. Nathan Dunfield.

I received my bachelor's degree from Beijing Normal University in 2013.

Research Interests

My research interest is hyperbolic geometry. I'm currently working on problems related to $\widetilde{PSL(2, R)}$ character varieties, left-orderability of fundamental groups and the L-space Conjecture.
