Women in The Workforce

Women everywhere have always, and will always, exist within the workforce, regardless of whether their work is acknowledged. 

The following website, created in collaboration between students from the University of Delhi and students from the University of Rhode Island, details just that. Each section explains the brief history and experiences of women in the workforce in both India and the United States within the given timeframe. It is vital to the women's rights movement that we understand these histories and experiences, how far we've come as well as how much further we have to go to reach equality.
