Funding

Travel Funding

The GWNT Seminar has some funds to cover travel expenses for UK-based attendees who do not have access to an alternative source of funding. To ensure that we can fund as many participants as possible, we ask that participants purchase "advance" or "off-peak" train tickets where practical. 

Extra Funding

Those with disabilities who may require accommodation/extra travel funding or those who may incur caring costs as a result of attending the GWNT Seminar please contact Julie Tavernier, jlt86@bath.ac.uk, or one of the local organisers of the relevant seminar, to discuss what funding is available for you.

*Any expenses that do not fall into one of the above categories cannot be covered by the GWNT Seminar. 

How To Claim Expenses

To claim reimbursement for expenses incurred attending the GWNT Seminar, please download and complete the following form.

Scan the receipts for all expenses being claimed and email them together with the completed form to Julie Tavernier at jlt86@bath.ac.uk . Please retain your original receipts until you have been reimbursed.

For GWNT Reading expenses, please claim by Friday 18th September 2026.

For other meetings, all expenses claims must be made within one month of the date on which the expenses were incurred.
