Hello all, my name is Grant William Burks and I am an aspiring photographer. I was originally born and raised in Memphis, Tennessee. I lived there for 18 years before moving across the state to my current home: Knoxville, Tennessee. Here, I am in my fourth year of undergraduate and will graduate in May with a degree in History. I plan to also attend graduate school at UTK. I will be studying Theory and Practice in Teacher Education and will graduate with my masters degree in May 2021. After receiving my masters degree, the ideal plan is to move to Boston, Massachusetts. My boyfriend will be attending Harvard Divinity School starting in the fall and I hope to follow him up north!

I have always had an interest in photography and capturing the world around me as I saw it. I have recently taken more of an interest in actually learning about photography and practicing it. Although I am just starting out, I know the power that media has. I know that feeling you get when you look at a photo of yourself and think, "I really like that photo!" I plan to share this same feeling with my clients and give them something to smile about through photos and videos.
