Drill team is one of our mandatory teams, all leaders and staff are expected to be on drill team. Our drill team recently just won first place overall out on nine High Schools in our Tunstall Drill Met. We strive to let new cadets learn how to command and do basic drill.
Our trill drill team just recently performed in our annually Change Of Command. A wonderful performance, having the crowd cheering. We have a competition coming up in October. Stay updated on details and watch out for videos of our trick team.
Colorguard team is limited. Most are upperclassman, but we do have a couple underclassman colorguards. It's better to teach them young, so they can be able to teach in their upcoming years. They mostly perform during ceremonies and graduations.
Our Rifle team commander is C/PO3 Logan Rigney for the year 2019-2020. Rifle team is a very focused team. You need to be very concentrated and steady. We shoot targets with air rifles and we send the targets in, to compete with other schools.
Our Cyber team was created last year (2018-2019) with Captain being C/LCDR Micheal Gryder. For our first competition, we won 7th overall out of 29 in the state. The cyber team will continue in the coming up year. With Co-Captains being C/LT Dymonique Williams and C/LCDR Jeremiah Koch.
Academic team is mostly consist of staff members, but all cadets are welcome to join. Academic team is our smallest team, but still important. We take test, which are graded against other schools. In one of our competitions called "Exam Of Doom", Dymonique Williams was the highest scoring member with a score of 17. And another one called "Brunswick Academic Postal, Benjamin Grimes was the highest scoring member with a score of 42.
