Multi-messenger Astrophysics of Explosive Transients

- Gravitational wave physics and astronomy: Genesis, Area Workshop 2021 Autumn -

2021 October 14 (Thu), online

Aim

Successful multimessenger observations of gravitational wave sources and high-energy neutrino sources opened the era of multimessenger astrophysics. This workshop aims at reviewing the following topics:

  • the latest progress in astrophysics of multimessenger transients, including neutron star mergers, supernovae, and gamma-ray bursts

  • upcoming observational projects for multimessenger transients

The workshop is held as an area workshop of the MEXT innovative area "Gravitational wave physics and astronomy: Genesis".
