The cost of sponsoring a student in Pala, Guatemala (these can be funded by single individuals, families or groups): costs updated March, 2023.
Guatemala Village Partners gets a new list of students requesting scholarships yearly in the month of January.
The school year in Guatemala starts some time mid or end of January and it ends in November. We ask sponsors to pay the scholarship any time starting in February (once we know students have started school). Sponsors also have the option to make any number of monthly payments, as long as the total amount is paid off by June 1st. We also ask sponsors to make a commitment of three years, in order to give the opportunity to the student to finish middle school and later high school.
