The school year in Guatemala starts in mid-January and it ends in November. We ask sponsors to pay any time starting in January. Sponsors also have the option to make any number of monthly payments, as long as the total amount is paid off by June 1st. We also ask sponsors to make a commitment of three years,  in order to give the opportunity to the student to finish middle school and later high school. Scholarships can be funded by single individuals, families, or groups.
