Tip #4 - National Competitive Event Study Guide
National FBLA-PBL publishes a competitive event study guide for both FBLA and PBL every three years (there is not an ML study guide). These study guides include sample competitive event materials for nearly every event, including case study (role play) samples, practice exams, and links to additional resources.
A study guide is $35 and good for three years, making it a small investment for the number of resources received.
Additional competitive event materials can be purchased from the MarketPlace, including reports and filmed competitive events.
Tip #5 - Where to find recorded presentations from SLC and NLC
National FBLA-PBL regularly records presentations at the National Leadership Conference to serve as a study material for your members. These videos show you the caliber at which National competitors perform, in addition to learning:
Tips for how to enter and exit rooms
How to interact with judges in Q&A
Ways to arrange yourselves in the room
How to best utilize technology
Remember that, while watching videos of the topics a student might be interested in, all recordings can benefit students with tips and ideas. You might also help expose a student to an event they might not have realized they could compete in.
Missouri has a limited amount of videos available for viewing, as well. Please see the links below for all sample videos.
