Fundraising/Events

All 71 dancers in the Dance Team and Dance Program (5th period) class are invited. Dancers are free, families and friends are $25 each, children 3-7 years old are $15 and children 2 and under are free. In an effort to ensure we have an accurate head count, please RSVP and submit your payment by Friday, April 18th.

Golden Valley High School Dance Booster Executive Officer Roles

2024-2025

President,

Rebeca Quiñonez

My role as President is to act as a liaison between the GVHS Dance Booster Club, Dance Advisor, and GVHS administrators, to ensure booster compliance, oversee fundraising, potential business sponsorship, and communications. I call and preside over all the meetings of the general membership & executive board and create the meeting agenda, ensure compliance at each meeting, appoint the chairperson of each standing committee, coordinate annual financial audits, review the structure and organization of the Executive Board & Standing Committees.

Vice-President,

Laura Flores

My role as Vice-President is to perform administrative functions as delegated by the President, assist with maintaining communications with the parents, create sign-up sheets of all volunteers for all events and fundraisers and submit those to our Secretary. I also assist with maintaining the booster club website and in the absence of the President, assume all duties of the President. I am also the chair of the Dance Competition Committee

Treasurer,

Elette Burwell

My role as Treasurer is to maintain our finances and provide a treasurer's report each month. I ensure that every monetary transaction is recorded and reported in our books and oversee the fundraisers and ensure that our books are in compliance with state, federal and district guidelines. I also prepare the annual financial report and submit it to the district and Golden Valley HS. I am also the chair of the Fundraising Committee.

Secretary,

LaToya Edwards

My role as Secretary is to create notes on all general membership meetings and Eboard Meetings and submit them for approval at each meeting. I also keep archives of each meeting and if a parent or community member needs a copy, they can reach out to me.
