A Formal Acknowledgment of Transition
The Outagamie County Sheriff’s Office formally announces a change in leadership following the resignation of Sheriff Damontrez Ryan on September 26, 2025. We extend our gratitude to former Sheriff Ryan for his period of service to the department and the residents of Outagamie County.
During times of transition, our commitment to continuity of service and the safety of our community remains the highest priority for all personnel.
Swearing-In Ceremony: Welcome, Sheriff A. Maps
We are proud to welcome our newly elected Sheriff, A. Maps, who officially took the oath of office and was sworn in on October 6, 2025.
Sheriff Maps steps into the role ready to lead the dedicated men and women of the Sheriff's Office. This transition represents a renewed opportunity to strengthen the department's mission of protection, service, and accountability across Outagamie County.
Continuity of Service and Future Focus
The Outagamie County Sheriff’s Office, under the direction of Sheriff A. Maps, reaffirms its commitment to transparency, professionalism, and community-focused law enforcement. We understand that effective policing requires strong public trust, and our efforts will be focused on building and maintaining those critical relationships.
