Position Title: Camp Volunteer
Location: Grand Valley & District Community Centre
Reports To: Camp Director
Position Type: Volunteer (Seasonal)

Position Summary:

Camp Volunteers play a vital role in creating a fun, safe, and inclusive environment for all campers. Volunteers assist with daily activities, support camp staff, and help ensure campers have a memorable experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with the setup, supervision, and cleanup of camp activities.

• Engage positively with campers, encouraging participation and inclusion.

• Support camp staff in maintaining a safe and respectful environment.

• Help monitor camper behavior and report any concerns to staff.

• Follow all camp rules, policies, and safety procedures.

• Notify the Camp Director as soon as possible if you are unable to attend your scheduled shift.

• Be a positive role model for campers and fellow volunteers.

Qualifications:

• Enthusiastic, responsible, and dependable.

• Enjoy working with children and being outdoors.

• Good communication and teamwork skills.

• Must pass any required background checks or screenings.
