Coolant change done by Pie Performance June 2025.
Full engine rebuild – Westwood Flanged Ductile Iron Liners - all 6 cylinders.
The following was also fitted while the rebuild was being done, some obvious, a few extras….
Crankshaft Main Bearings
Crankshaft Big End Bearings
Timing Chains
Piston Rings
Clutch Slave cylinder
Clutch Kit
Crank Sensor
Oil Pressure sender unit
Coolant pump.
Flywheel bolts
Oil Cooler
Breather pipes
The exhaust system also had all the clamps and bolts replaced including the dreaded manifold bolts, which were all removed, drilled out, head then helicoiled and new stainless bolts used.
The above was ess than 10k miles and two years ago.
Coolant system was also completely replaced, all pipes, connectors, expansion tank etc.
Coolant pump also replaced and done with the engine build.
Couple of other bits and bobs replaced at the time too.
AMS also replaced the starter motor and the power distribution cable when they did the oil change after the rebuild run in period.
2000 miles before that the following was done....
Oil pump was replaced along with vacuum lines.
Rear brake lines.
The alternator and the Y Cable was also replaced after Hot start issues.
A few suspension arms and roll bar bushes were replaced late last year along with new Geo and the new Bridgestone Sport Tyres fitted. (Not a massive fan of the steering feel on PS4S).
Brakes discs have around 90% life, pads around 75%.
Condition…
I would say the car overall is in superb condition, interior a good 9 out of 10, leather all nice and matt still, not all hard and shiny.
The exterior is also superb, overall a good 9 out of 10, a couple of little bits of you’re looking, but really nice.
The car drives wonderfully, it is very tight suspension wise, every thing works properly and nothing feels tired.
Bad bits…
Tiny little mark in the rear bumper, low down so have to be looking for it, but it is there.
That really is about it.
Oh, also I fitted the Porsche Car Play PCCM+ too a few months back, the orignal PCM is obviously included.
Price???
£29,950 or sensible offers. Ask, I can only say "Not quite enough."
Would consider a part ex 718 Cayman. Manual or PDK, I would like something I can put a Porsche warranty on as doing a euro and North Africa road trip, so would like to have Porsche warranty and recovery on a car in case something happens.
Late 981 S or GTS I would consider too.
All books, binder, folder for of paperwork, service book and two keys obviously included.
