Govt. Utkrisht Sr. Sec. School Jhakri is situated in District Shimla, Himachal Pradesh. This school was established in the year 1962 as a Primary School. In 1982, it was upgraded to a Government Middle School, in 1984 to a Government High School, and in 1994 it came into existence as a Government Senior Secondary School. In the academic session 2020–21, the school was granted the status of a Utkrisht School and September 2025, the school has been functioning as a Complex School.
The school is managed by the Department of Education, Government of Himachal Pradesh and functions strictly according to HPBOSE/CBSE Affiliation Bye-Laws committed to providing quality, inclusive, and value-based education to students from all sections of society. We focus on the overall development of learners by nurturing academic excellence, discipline, moral values, and life skills.
