Climate change is one of the most pressing issues facing society; there are many changes we can make as individuals and groups to make our actions more sustainable.
GUSA with the support of GUEST have set up this challenge to encourage clubs and societies across the University of Glasgow to run themselves in the most sustainable way possible.
The Sustainbility challenge is about creating an initatives for the clubs to make lasting change in their club structure to make their club more environemtally friendly. This is done by creating a compitition that rewards creative ideas by clubs to become more sustainble. You can find past examples of challenges and the submission form at the very top of the page.
Every challenge submited will get your clubs points, the amount of which will be decided by the sutanbility committee. The winner of the challenge will receive a trophy at GUSA ball.
There will also be a monthly ranking and the club with the most points at the end of each of the four months the challenge will run in, will get an extra 3 GUSA ball tickets allocated.
There is a lot to compete for, so get creative!!
The challenge will run from the 1st of October to the 1st of Feburary, meaning there are 12 GUSA ball tickets up for grabs.
This challenge is being run by Glasgow University Sports Association in partnership with Glasgow University Environmental Sustainability Team. For more information please email: gusa-travel@glasgow.ac.uk .
