This is Gurupada Ghorai, pursuing my Ph.D. at NISER, Bhubaneswar, working on nanoscale materials synthesis, characterization, and their applications. I mostly work on spin conversion-based devices using 2D magnetic materials and their interface properties. Also, I am looking for a new kind of hexagonal phase of noble or non-noble metals applicable for SERS, catalytic effects, etc. I am working on the instruments FIB, EBL, FESEM, EDS, Raman, TEM, FTIR, thin film deposition, XRD, CVD, SQUID, etc.
