I am a Senior Data Scientist at Corteva Agriscience, USA. I was previously a research fellow in the group of Dr. L. Aravind at the National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI), National Library of Medicine (NLM), National Institutes of Health (NIH), USA.
Before joining NIH, I graduated with a Ph.D. degree in life sciences from CSIR-IMTECH, Chandigarh, India and Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi, India.
I am an interdisciplinary biologist with 15+ years of experience spanning AI/ML-enabled computational biology, data‑driven research, and bench‑side experimentation. I bring a unique blend of analytical rigor and hands‑on scientific expertise, enabling me to navigate complex biological problems from multiple angles. My specialization includes seqeunce-structure-function and evolutionary analysis of biomolecules, particularly proteins, to understand how biological pathways and functions emerge and evolve.
A self‑motivated researcher and enthusiastic lifelong learner, I’ve independently led diverse scientific projects while consistently thriving in collaborative, cross‑functional teams.
Writing is one of my strongest assets; I excel at communicating complex scientific ideas with clarity and impact. I’m known for my outstanding communication and presentation skills, which I’ve applied in research, mentorship, and scientific outreach.
’m also deeply passionate about education and love empowering others through teaching, training, and knowledge‑sharing.
