Gurlive Terms of Service

1. Overview

This document (referred to as “the Terms”) outlines the rules and conditions governing your use of the services offered by us (collectively, the “Service”), which include the Gurlive social video platform and related applications developed by our team (the “Gurlive App”). You, as the user, form one party to this Agreement, while the other party is the Gurlive team (hereinafter “we,” “our,” or “Gurlive”).

We may revise or update these Terms at our discretion. Any continued use of the Service after such changes will constitute your acceptance of the updated version. By accessing or using Gurlive, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to all provisions in this Agreement.

2. Eligible

Our Service is intended only for adults aged 18 years or older. If you are under 18, please refrain from creating an account or using any of our services.

3. Your Account

You can register or log in to the Gurlive App using your account from a supported third-party platform. Please note that the collection and use of your information by such third-party services are governed by their own privacy policies.

If you wish to permanently close your account, we can assist you through customer support. You may reach us via email for account cancellation instructions, or you may delete your account directly within the app or via our official website according to our Privacy Policy.

We retain the right to suspend or terminate any account when necessary, particularly if a user breaches these Terms, violates laws, infringes the rights of others, or engages in activities that could harm the platform or its users.

4. User Content

Gurlive offers users multiple ways to communicate and interact, including text chat and video calls. You may post, upload, or store a variety of content such as text, messages, images, voice clips, code, or any other data (“User Content”). You may also utilize Gurlive’s built-in features (“Gurlive Functions”), including virtual items, to enhance and share your content.

Please be aware that user-generated content does not necessarily represent Gurlive’s opinions or values.

For technical and operational purposes, your information may be stored or processed in servers and systems located across different countries, including those outside your own jurisdiction.

5. Use of services

Your access to Gurlive must comply with these Terms and applicable laws. You agree not to engage in any activity that:

i. Publishes or distributes unlawful, defamatory, obscene, harassing, or otherwise inappropriate material;

ii. Misrepresents your identity, impersonates others, or accesses another user’s account without authorization;

iii. Harasses, threatens, deceives, or collects personal data from other users without consent;

iv. Disables, bypasses, or interferes with Gurlive’s security systems or any copyright protections;

v. Disrupts the platform’s normal operation or uploads malicious files such as viruses or spyware;

vi. Manipulates data identifiers to disguise the source of information transmitted through the Service;

vii. Damages or overloads the platform, or interferes with other users’ normal access to the Service;

viii. Attempts to bypass any content filters or gain unauthorized access to restricted sections of the platform.

6. Virtual Items

Users may purchase “diamonds” or other virtual credits displayed with their respective prices. Once payment is confirmed, the purchased diamonds will appear in your account and can be exchanged for virtual gifts within the app.

Please note that these virtual items have no real-world monetary value. They cannot be traded, withdrawn, or exchanged for cash or any form of real currency.

Only users aged 18 or older (or the legal age of majority in their jurisdiction) are allowed to make purchases or send virtual gifts.

All transactions involving diamonds and gifts are final. Unless otherwise specified, Gurlive does not offer refunds or exchanges once a purchase has been completed.

7. Termination of service

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Gurlive reserves the exclusive right to suspend, restrict, or permanently terminate your access to any part of the Gurlive services at its sole discretion, without prior notice. This action may be taken under circumstances including, but not limited to, the following:

When we determine that your actions have violated these Terms or any applicable laws;

When evidence suggests you have engaged in fraudulent activities or misuse of the Gurlive platform;

When continued service provision is not feasible due to technical failures or business-related decisions.

Such termination may also impact your ability to use products or services that you have previously purchased.

8. Intellectual Property

By uploading, streaming, or otherwise making available any live or user-generated content in the public sections of Gurlive, you grant Gurlive and its affiliates a worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable, and non-exclusive license—allowing us to use, reproduce, adapt, publish, translate, distribute, display, or create derivative works from your content. This license is fully transferable and sublicensable, and permits use across all media formats and technologies, existing now or developed in the future, without further notice or compensation.

All materials available on the Gurlive platform—including text, graphics, data, videos, audio, and software—are protected under copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. Nothing contained in these Terms should be interpreted as granting you ownership or usage rights to any of these materials beyond what is expressly authorized.

9. Disclaimer

You acknowledge and agree that your use of Gurlive services is at your own risk. By using or relying on Gurlive, you accept all potential risks that may arise.

We do not warrant that Gurlive services will meet all your expectations or remain uninterrupted and error-free. Gurlive is provided “as is” and “as available”, without any express or implied guarantees regarding accuracy, reliability, or performance. We are not liable for any consequences arising from the use or inability to use the platform, including issues related to service quality, data integrity, or timeliness.

External links or third-party content accessible through Gurlive are provided for convenience only. We neither endorse nor take responsibility for their accuracy or reliability, as such content lies outside Gurlive’s control.

In cases of force majeure or other events beyond our reasonable control, Gurlive shall not be held liable for interruptions or disruptions of service. Nonetheless, we will endeavor to minimize any potential losses or inconveniences to users whenever possible.

10. Guarantee

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Gurlive, its affiliates, partners, officers, directors, employees, licensors, and contractors from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising out of:

Your breach of these Terms or applicable laws;

Your violation of any third party’s rights;

Your misuse or improper use of Gurlive services;

Any content or communication you distribute through the platform.

Even if Gurlive is found liable in legal proceedings, your obligation to provide indemnification will remain in effect to the fullest extent permitted by law.

11. Legal jurisdiction

Any disputes or controversies arising from or related to these Terms—including questions regarding their existence, interpretation, or termination—shall be resolved by arbitration under the rules of the Singapore International Arbitration Centre (SIAC) in force at the time of the dispute.

The arbitration shall take place in Singapore, and English shall be the language of the proceedings. To initiate arbitration, the relevant procedures specified under SIAC rules must be followed.

12. Modification

We may revise or modify these Terms at our discretion at any time. By continuing to access or use Gurlive after any updates, you acknowledge and accept the most recent version of the Terms. Your use of the Service signifies your agreement to comply with all applicable clauses herein. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you should immediately discontinue using Gurlive.
