Parul Gupta

Welcome to my personal webpage! 

Currently, I teach economics at the Shiv Nadar University (Delhi NCR). Previously, I worked as a research consultant in the digital platforms practice area at Sattva Consulting and have taught undergraduate courses in economics at the Lady Shri Ram College (Delhi University). In the past I have worked as a consultant at the World Bank, Postgraduate Fellow at the Yale University and Research Associate at The Energy and Resources Institute. My areas of interest include education policy, gender and development economics.

I earned a doctorate degree in economics at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT, Delhi). My undergraduate degree in economics was received from Lady Shri Ram College (New Delhi, India) and I pursued a Master's degree in economics at the Johns Hopkins University. 

I am trained in Indian Classical Vocal Music and Bharatnatyam dance and my hobbies include singing, dancing, painting and listening to music.
