Hey all. I have a Galaxy S (T-Mobile Vibrant) running the latest TW ROM, but I had this trouble when I was on their previous ROM as well. Though the phone runs beautifully in general, whenever I get a text message the ringtone will play, but about three seconds into the playback another instance of the ringtone will start up, playing along with the first. It's not a huge deal, but it is somewhat annoying.

The only thing I think I've screwed up with my phone was restoring some of the basic apps from a previous install. When I last upgraded my ROM, every time I switched back to the home screen, it would provide me with a choice between two possible launchers, the one from my previous ROM (I think) and the one from the current ROM. Could I have two instances of two different versions of the service that plays ringtones running simultaneously?

So a few days ago the outgoing call ringtone started playing twice (see this video). For some reason this only seems to be happening on the Canary client (160496, host 1.0.53). Any idea on what's causing that?

I'm going crazy. For a while now my phone rings 2 ringtones with incoming calls. One is a regular phone sound and the other is the ringtone a chose under preferences or settings. If I change the ringtone to silence, I still get the regular phone ringtone when calls come in. How do I fix it??

Hi everyone! Thanks for the advice! after uninstalling, installing 2 or 3 times, checking all the settings, I found the problem, for some weird reason a few of my contacts (those that I used the most) had the a "custom notification ringtone" checked, when I un checked them in the individuals contact settings everything started to ring perfectly and just ones, with the right notification sound!

The first thing you must do is enable dual ringtones. Android makes this very simple. Open up Settings, and then go to Sound & vibration. From within that screen, tap Phone ringtone. In the resulting window (Figure A), tap the On/Off slider for Set ringtone for each SIM card (this will only appear if you have two SIM cards inserted).

Hi,

I have several SIM Cards, but I cannot choose one or the other for ringtones.

What I send is the image I get when I go to

Settings

Sounds

Ringtone.

Immediatly there is this list where I can select a ringtone.

There is nothing like the question wether I would like to use different for each sims, in the settings for sim there is no choice for ringtones.

Mariah Carey's contemporary yuletide classic "All I Want For Christmas Is You," already the best-selling holiday ringtone of all time, has now become the first seasonal ringtone to cross the RIAA Double Platinum mark in recognition of sales of more than two million units.

Fans wanting to order the "All I Want For Christmas Is You" (Original) ringtone directly may text MARIAH1 to 66555 from a mobile device. ($2.99/tone | Not a Subscription | Opt Out: text STOP to 66555)*

"All I Want For Christmas Is You," has been America's #1 holiday ringtone for the past three consecutive holiday seasons (2006, 2007, 2008), reaching cumulative sales of more than 1.6 million copies prior to this year. The top-selling seasonal ringtone of all-time, Mariah's holiday gem became the very first seasonal Mastertone to be awarded an RIAA certification in 2006 and was awarded an RIAA platinum certification in 2007. The song has hit #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 Singles Recurrents chart every year from 2005 - 2008.

I have this exact problem too... a quick double beep instead of the selected ringtone. Additionally, I have Ringers/Alerts under the Audio options set to All Devices, but it will only send the beep to selected speaker device ONLY.

iOS 17 and iPadOS 17 also bring the ability to set the ringtone for each SIM line separately. Your business line, for example, could have a distinct ringtone to make it easy to distinguish between personal and business callers before answering.

The ringtones on this website are in .mp3 format and is compatible with almost all mobile phones. Download ringtones and use them on Nokia Mobile phones, Samsung, Sony Ericsson phones, LG mobiles, Motorola phones etc...

Unlike duplicate music files, iOS 7 doesn't give you the option to delete tones on the iPhone itself. If you have duplicate tones, the only way to delete them is by using iTunes. Deleting duplicate tones in your iTunes library and then syncing the iPhone should almost always get rid of the duplicates on your iPhone. If this doesn't work, you may have to remove all of your custom ringtones from the iPhone, sync, delete the duplicates in your iTunes library again, before selecting the ones you want and syncing your iPhone a third and final time.

Launch iTunes on your computer. If iTunes prompts you to install an update, do this before proceeding. Click the "Library" button in the upper left corner and select "Tones." This displays all of your ringtones.

Recently I played with my Android phone and added back some OEM ringtones which were removed from the custom firmware I use. After doing that, all my ringtones were listed twice in the sound profile. This was strange, because I had not added duplicates of existing files. Every file had a single copy on my Android phone. Thankfully, I found out the solution and would like to share it with you.

To fix the issue, you need to rebuild the data index of the Media Storage application which is a part of the Android OS and comes with all devices. To rebuild that index, you need to do the following:

Reduce page clutter for easier reading and navigation: In the Safari address field, select the Format Options button, double-tap, select Show Reader View (not available for all webpages), then double-tap.

Get information about a location: Select the location (for example, a business, landmark, or pin), then double-tap to open the information card. Swipe left or right to hear information such as directions, street address, phone number, business hours, and customer reviews.

As well as traditional content, such as games, wallpapers and ringtones linked to specific sporting personalities, Player One Sports' expanding portfolio will include interactive mobishows, live streaming and video, all relating to popular sporting events. www.playeronemobile.com e24fc04721
