Sunday School

The Children's Ministry is sending home monthly emails with Sunday School resources for our preschoolers and elementary school children. Please contact Natalie Adkinson if you are not receiving these emails. You can also access each week's Sunday School video lesson at the top of this page.

We want the children to understand the Scriptures are alive and relevant to today. Therefore, our lessons are active, engaging, and hands-on. Please send elementary children with their Bible each Sunday and Wednesday.

Our one priority is to teach kids to LOVE GOD! "'...with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.' This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: "Love your neighbor as yourself.'" Matthew 22: 37-38

GROW - curriculum

We believe there are four spiritual habits that help kids (and adults, too) grow closer to God. These four habits aren’t anything new. They’ve been talked about countless ways, by countless numbers of people. The words aren’t important, but here’s what is: if these four spiritual habits are the behaviors that help kids grow closer to God, we need a strategy to help kids engage in these four spiritual habits on a regular basis, year after year.

Stepping Stones preschool classes

The Hamilton Nursery serves our children ages birth through pre-kindergarten. The Nursery is open on Sundays during our 8:30 am Traditional Service, 9:30 am Sunday School, and 11:00 am Traditional and Prism Services in the following rooms:

Room 221: Little Ladybugs: Infants until walking

Room: 216: Giggling Grasshoppers: Walking until 2

Room: 214: Dizzy Dragonflies: 2’s & 3’s (Turn 2 by August 15, 2023. Potty training not required.)

Room: 233/234: Bouncing Butterflies: 3’s, 4’s & 5’s (Must be potty trained)

Our nursery is covered by 11 paid staff members. We do occasionally have the need for substitute teachers when our staff are absent. If you are interested in volunteering in the nursery, please contact Janelle Crist.

Kids quest elementary classes

Elementary Sunday School meets from 9:30-10:30 am every week. All elementary children start in the Huddle (Room 240)for large group instruction. At 10am children move to small groups. Pickup for elementary children is in the Education Wing classrooms listed below.

4th Grade boys & girls: Room 259

5th Grade boys & girls: Room 263 (The Bridge)

Note: In the summer and on holiday weekends, all Elementary children will stay together in the Huddle- Room 240.

Our elementary Sunday School classes are covered by adult volunteers who have committed to teach his/her class for a full academic year. We are so grateful for these generous adults!! If you are interested in volunteering to teach elementary Sunday School, please contact Natalie Adkinson or Hayley Heard.

Our church services will also continue to be live streamed each week. We encourage all of our families to spend some time together (either at church or at home) in worship and Sunday School every week! You can find our services on the church YouTube page.
