I was born and raised in Mallorca, Spain. After high-school, I went to Madrid to study a BSc in Mathematics and Computer Science at Complutense University (Universidad Complutense de Madrid). While I was in Madrid, I also spent time learning cinema direction and created a couple of 16mm short films. After my BSc, I did a MEng in Statistics and Data Science at Madrid's Polytechnic University (Universidad Politécnica de Madrid). Followed by that, I spent a summer doing research at Aalto University in Finland. After my research stay in Finland, I started my MSc in Math in the ALGANT program, during this time I spent a year in the University of Padua, followed by a year in Leiden University. After this, I went to pursue my PhD at the Worcester Polytechnic Institute in Worcester MA. Currently I live in Sendai, Japan, where I carry research as a JSPS fellow.
