Guillermo Arenas Díaz is an assistant professor (RTD-A) of the Department of Economic Policy at the Universitá Cattolica del Sacro Cuore, Milan, Italy.
He did his PhD in Economics at the Complutense University of Madrid, Spain, with a thesis titled "The relationship between innovation and employment: firm-level effects and a value chain framework," under the supervision of Joost Heijs and Andrés Barge-Gil. He completed his undergraduate and master's studies in economics at the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM), Mexico City, Mexico.
His main research interests are innovation, the labor market, technological change, employment, skills, green innovation, and applied econometrics.
