Bio:

Greetings! I am Guilherme, a Brazilian 🇧🇷 living and working in France 🇫🇷.
I am currently working as a
n assistant professor at ECE-Paris. I have worked from September 2019 to September 2022 as a postdoc associate in the BIRD team at the University of Lorraine in France. I also worked for one year (2018-2019) as a postdoc fellow in the Computer Science Institute at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul in Brazil. My Ph.D. and Master's degrees were also obtained at the same institution in Brazil.

Some of the subjects that motivate me the most are Recommender Systems, User Modeling, and Learning Analytics. If you want to discuss these or other related topics please contact me.

  • New project (405973/2021-7) accepted! Proposed on the subject of Recommendations of resources on Campus and financed by the Brazilian government under the competitive "Universal Call". This project joins 3 Brazilian universities and me as a foreigner collaborator. This year only 28 computer science projects were accepted all over Brazil.
