Cemetery Cleanups
We have been fortunate to have countless cemetery cleanups over the past 4 years and the guidance and help from Robert Mosko (Cemetery Conservator for the Coalition for the Protection of Maryland Burial Sites) has been invaluable. The cleanups all started with help from the State Highway Administration (SHA) who were assessing cemetery properties within their right-of-way. The Chief Archeologist with SHA provided support in removing the first layer of vegetative debris from the cemetery in April 2018.
A very special thank you goes to TurboHaul and Kevin Daly for providing a dumpster for several of our cleanups as well as Howard County Department of Public Works who waived the tipping fee at the landfill. There are so many people to thank for participating in these cleanups and hopefully the effort will continue. Please contact us if you would like to host a cleanup!
