Guides Day Out 2026

Register for walks and workshops (activities)

Welcome! This form is used to collect your activity preferences for the upcoming Guides Day Out. Please read all of the instructions carefully before you begin. If you experience any problems completing the form or have any questions about how it works, please contact the Guide Manager via gdo@tiritirimatangi.org.nz before submitting your responses. 

Due to limited numbers, activities will be allocated by lottery using a ranked preference system. Submitting your preferences does not guarantee allocation to a particular activity, but every effort will be made to allocate you to your highest-ranked choices wherever possible.

Before completing this form, please closely study the programme for each day, available either here or in the Guides' Section of the website. 

Please note that you will still need to book the ferry separately by emailing booktoguide@tiritirimatangi.org.nz.

For each day you are attending:

• Select up to four morning activities.

• Select up to four afternoon activities.

• Rank your selected activities in order of preference, with 1 being your most preferred choice.

• You can select just one activity, but the more preferences you provide, the greater the chance of being allocated to something you would enjoy if your higher-ranked choices are already full.

Steps to complete the form:

1. Enter your name and email address. Double-check that your email is correct and the same one used for booking ferry — this is where your confirmation emails will be sent.

2. Click on the day(s) you will be attending. A check mark will show up if you have make selection for that day.

3. Scroll through the programme summary and click on the activities in order of your preference — first choice first, second choice second, and so on.

4. When you click on an activity, a number appears in the top-right of that selection. This is your ranked choice.

5. When you have selected your preferred activities for all morning and afternoon sessions, scroll to the bottom and click Submit My Preferences.

6. A confirmation screen will appear listing the choices you have made.

7. You should receive a confirmation email within a few minutes. If nothing arrives (and it isn't in your junk/spam folder), please try again with your email address double-checked.
