Go to guiderapp.in and click GuiderApp Registration. Login in using your official mail ID (Official mail ID is provided after a student gets admitted in the course. If you have not yet received it, please contact Dr. Gnanasambandan).
Fill up the form and submit.
Once you submit, GuiderApp will allocate a Mentor automatically.
You will receive an email (to your official mail ID) with your Mentor details.
Once student registers on GuiderApp, it automatically assigns a mentor randomly and a mail is sent to the mentee only.
No email is sent to the Mentor. Instead, Mentor Portal is updated with the newly assigned Mentee's details.
To know who are all your mentees, click Mentor Portal link on the GuiderApp homepage.
At the Mentor Portal page, select your name.
You will be redirected to your respective Mentor Portal page. Login using your official mail ID only.
(If you are already logged in using your official mail ID in the Chrome, Mentor Portal page will automatically load)
At the top right corner, you will see four links, Home, Attendance Report, Mentees, GuiderApp Report.
If you are using the app in mobile, all the links will be shown at the top left corner.
An Attendance Sheet loads with all the current respective mentees. The passed out students will be removed from the list automatically.
Your Mentees will report to you on every working Saturday by 10am.
Once the session is over, you may ask the mentees to fill up the GuiderApp Session Form.
In the GuiderApp Session Form, they are supposed to provide the details of the session including the solutions or suggestions provided by you.
Once they submit the GuiderApp Session Form, it gets updated in the GuiderApp Report which you may view under GuiderApp Report page in your portal.
During every mentoring session you may record your mentees attendance, by clicking check boxes in the Attendance Sheet of your portal homepage and click submit.
Please record attendance only once for every session.
As and when you submit the Attendance for every session, an Attendance Report is generated automatically and can be viewed under Attendance Report link in your portal.
All the passed and present students is shown under the Mentees link in your portal.
Once the Mentee submits the session form, a report is generated automatically.
To view the report, click the GuiderApp Report link in your portal.
This GuiderApp Report may be printed out for documentation if required.
To print the GuiderApp Report, place the mouse over the top right corner of the report, you will see a pop-out link.
A Google Document is opened once you click the pop-out link.
You may use the print option as you do for any document.
