I am the Director of the Applied Economics and Behavioral Science team in the Center for Artificial Intelligence and Insights at Vanguard.
I am also a visiting scholar at the University of Chicago and Stanford University, and I am an invited researcher at JPAL North America. I am a co-founder of the 529 National Consortium on Education Savings Research.
My work is at the intersection of behavioral economics, AI, and public policy. Prior to joining Vanguard, I’ve led high-impact projects with government agencies, fintech firms, and multilateral institutions to inform strategic decisions and large scale investments. My work has been published in leading journals and featured in The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, Politico, and The Washington Post.
Previously, I was Head of Labor Markets at the Behavioural Insights Team, where I partnered with senior leaders across Asia-Pacific to improve programs through behavioral science and user-centered evaluation. I’ve also served as a consultant to the United Nations and European Commission on scaling evidence-based innovation.
