The Education Department offers a program that leads to a Bachelor of Arts in Education that is accredited by the Lebanese Ministry of Education and Higher Education.
This is a dynamic life-changing program that has a general education core and an option of one of the following different specializations: English and Social Studies, Math, or Science, among others. This professional degree program provides course work and practicum experience designed to produce well-qualified school teachers. The program has been designed as a coordinated, sequenced balance of course work and integrated school observational / linguistic development and practical experiences.
The core education courses, common to all four programs include: Foundations of Education, Educational Psychology, Tests & Measurements, Guidance and Counseling, Instructional Methods, Research Methods, Educational Technology, Seminar in Education, Classroom Management, Classroom Observation, Practice Teaching, and Senior Study in Education.

The department offers a Teaching Diploma (24 credits) for professionals who have content knowledge but seek to further advance in their careers.
Applicants to the program can choose one of the following specializations: Arabic, Computer Skills, Economics, English, Math, Science, or Social Studies. Students who earn a TD qualify to be professional teachers at either the elementary, intermediate or secondary levels.
