Gudang Cafe offers a playful take on traditional Japanese cuisine with broad Malaysian influences emphasizing local, rustic, seasonal and sustainable ingredients. Dishes are designed for sampling and sharing and are complemented by an iconoclastic cocktail experience served in a vibrant atmosphere that welcomes guests daily.

DESIGN

Gudang Cafe offers a unique blend of breathtaking Malaysian views with an intimate, welcoming, critically-acclaimed dining experience.

Designed by award-winning architects MeiCheeSeong, the restaurant features include a 20 seat inside bar, extreme 1 piece long dining table that seats up to 36 people. The table is made by 45 feet long tropical hardwood tree (Chengal)

The décor is also playfully injected with Rusty influences by rustic metals and weathered wood.

ABOUT BUILDING & GHAUT ARMENIAN 

Gudang Cafe is located on the No 5 Ghaut of Armenian Street in Penang Malaysia.

The Building completed in 1950.  One of the old warehouse in Armenian Street.
