a. How to Delete Your Account
(1) . Through the Guardy App (Recommended):
Step 1: Open the Guardy app and navigate to the 'My Setting' page.
Step 2: Tap on 'Account info'.
Step 3: Tap the 'Edit' button and complete the identity verification process for security.
Step 4: Scroll to the bottom and tap the 'Delete Account' button.
Step 5: Follow the on-screen prompts to confirm the permanent deletion of your account.
(2). Through Email Request: If you are unable to delete your account using the method above, you also have the right to request the deletion of the data you have provided. Please contact us at guardygo@gmail.com, and we will process your request within a reasonable timeframe.
b. Effect of Account Deletion Upon confirmation of your deletion request, the following actions will be taken:
Data to be Permanently Deleted: Your account and all personally identifiable information will be permanently deleted from our production servers. This includes your phone number, optional profile information (age, gender, nationality), historical location data, and service usage records linked to your account.
Data That May Be Retained: We may retain certain data for a limited period only for legitimate and legally required purposes, such as fraud prevention or compliance with legal obligations. This data will be anonymized or aggregated and will no longer be associated with your identity.
6. Children's Privacy
Our Service is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. If we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we will immediately delete it from our servers.
