GUARD ("the app") is developed by Yuri van der Putten (Goudboom Enterprise). This privacy policy explains how the app handles user data.
GUARD does not collect, transmit, or share any personal data directly. No user accounts are required. The app contains no analytics or crash reporting services.
The app requests the following device permissions solely to enable core features:
Camera & Flashlight — required to control the torch for the strobe light function (Android requires both permissions to access the torch)
Location — used to display GPS coordinates on your screen only; coordinates are never transmitted or stored
Wake Lock — keeps the screen active during strobe and alarm
Audio Settings — used to control speaker volume for the alarm function
Local Storage
The app stores your personal preferences locally on your device (such as display settings and fake call configuration). This data never leaves your device and is not transmitted to any server.
GUARD displays ads via Google AdMob. AdMob may collect device identifiers and use them for ad personalization. Users in the European Union are shown a consent prompt before personalized ads are served, in accordance with GDPR. This app is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
