About PR #3

How to be on PR

1. Submit the google form FROM HERE!! You only need to submit your Email, Name, Player Tag, Main, and Sub fighter. You can update / edit your information at any time to keep your newest Main or Sub fighter!
2. Note: If you don't submit this form, you will NOT be on PR.

On a side note, please update your MAIN, SUB Fighter accordingly.

I will not be updating this information anymore. It will be managed by you!

How will I do PR?

Power Rank will be based off on following scores.

• Your tournament results
• Your WIN - LOSE results

Tournaments will be weighed based on how many people have attended, and how many PR player were there.

Win-lose will be important as well as your tournament results. If you are able to take off a win from a high ranked player, it will go into your account in a greater points. If you lose... :)

What tournaments will be counted for PR?

Any tournaments that has below are qualified for PR:

• Tournament has over 25 attendees (*1)
• Tournament is open for everyone (*2)
• Tournament is held offline
• Tournament has a understandable competitive rules (*3)
• Tournament is completed

What is different from PR#2 ?

1. Ranking system: I will remove Elo Rate system since it does not seem useful.

2. Managing system: I will not updating the fighter you have used. From now, you will be in charge of your main / sub fighter. Also, if you change your tag, you can update that as well.

Discussion

I understand there are many opinions to PR, and how it should be. For example, Panda Global have announced that their 3rd Ranking system for SSBU will be based off on a Panelist System (DOT ESPORTS). I personally disagree with this system, due to recency bias happens a lot. We will see how it will turn out for the Panda Global ranking.

On the Guam Power Ranking, I will rank ONLY based on points. I will not put in any personal reason to rank someone higher / lower.

However, please feel free to discuss your opinion with me about this, or anything else.
