GUADALUPE CORREA-LOPERA

Welcome to my personal webpage.

I am Guadalupe Correa-Lopera, an Assistant Professor at the Department of Economics of the Public University of Navarre.  

Before that I was a Max Weber Postdoctoral Fellow and a part-time Assistant Professor at the Department of Economics of the European University Institute.    

I received my PhD in Economics from Universidad de Málaga and Università degli Studi di Padova in 2019. My main research interest lies in Political Economy, with a special focus on the theoretical study and comparison of systems of direct democracy and representative democracy, by using the tools provided by Economic Theory, Social Choice and Mechanism Design.
