GUADALUPE CORREA-LOPERA

Welcome to my personal webpage.

I am Guadalupe Correa-Lopera, an Assistant Professor at the Department of Economic Theory and Economic History at the University of Granada.  

Previously, I was an Assistant Professor at the Public University of Navarre, and a Max Weber Postdoctoral Fellow and part-time Assistant Professor at the European University Institute.    

I received my PhD in Economics from University of Malaga and University of Padua. My primary research interest is in Political Economy, particularly in the theoretical analysis and comparison of direct and representative democracy. I use tools from Economic Theory, Social Choice, and Mechanism Design to explore these systems in depth.
