Prerrequisites

GtoF needs to have previously installed the following software, either on Windows or Linux platforms:

GAWK

Installing GAWK is very easy: once you have copied the binary files into your hard disk, it consists in an auto-executable file that can be installed by just one-click. Just follow the installation instructions and you will have a clean version of GAWK on your computer.

Once GAWK has been installed in windows, it is very important to declare the path on your machine as an “environment variable”; typically, the path is similar to the next one:

C:\Program Files (x86)\GnuWin32\bin

PYTHON

In this box you will find a basic auto-installing version of Python3.4.3 as well as an autoexecutable version of PyQt4, both of them for a Windows 64-bit platform. If you have any other system, or you want to have and test the last version of Python 3.*, you must download directly from the official website (at this moment, the official link is https://www.python.org/ ).

Once you have these exec files saved on your device, first at all you must:

Install Python in your computer or windows tablet, downloading the additional files that will be required by the program during or after installation –it is recommended to be connected to internet during installation.
Secondly, install PyQt4 in order to activate the Graphic User Interface (GUI) that supports the GtoF interactive windows.

Even if it is no necessary, I recommend reinitialize the device (computer or tablet) in order to guarantee the right installation of Python.
