An Overview of Diophantine Geometry

I work in diophantine geometry, which is a fancy way to say that I use geometric methods to solve diophantine equations. In this talk I will talk about my master's thesis "p-adic methods for rational points on curves of genus at least 2", which focuses on the Chabauty-Coleman method for solving diophantine equations, and a bit about unlikely intersections.
