Teacher Assistant (TA) at UIUC
As a TA at UIUC my main job was to conduct discussion sections and facilitate active learning environment in the classroom. During the class I usually reviewed the main topic for a given week, showed a few concrete examples, and then divided students into groups to begin completing the worksheet. This method enabled students to actively engage with the material in collaborative setting with their peers.
