About the conference

This International Conference on Graph Theory and Applications (GTA 2021) to be hosted by the School of Physical and Applied sciences (SPAS), Goa University, Goa, India, in collaboration with the International Academy of Physical Sciences (IAPS) is intended to bring pioneering and upcoming researchers to a common platform to discuss the pressing issues on Graph Theory and its applications with the help of recent developments in the field. This conference focuses on recent research related to any sub-branch of Graph Theory such as Spectral Graph Theory, Graph Labeling, Graph Coloring, Algorithms, Networks, Network Theory, Hypergraphs, Extremal Graph Theory etc. Young researchers are encouraged to give oral presentations during the conference.

The main objective of GTA 2021 is to give a platform to Graph theorists from different parts of the world to interact with each other and exchange their ideas. CONIAPS serves as an excellent platform to inculcate research interest among young minds on recent applications of Pure and Applied Mathematics. GTA 2021 welcomes contributions related to all traditional as well as modern areas of Graph Theory and its application in various fields. Authors are invited to submit their papers; if accepted, will be scheduled for oral presentation in virtual mode.

About Goa University

Goa University was established under the Goa University Act of 1984 (Act No. 7 of 1984) and commenced operations on 1 June 1985. Headed by Chancellor, Hon’ble Governor, Shri P.S. Sreedharan Pillai and Vice Chancellor, Shri Harilal B. Menon. The university provides higher education in the state of Goa and is situated on the Taleigão plateau and is one of India's few universities offering western languages such as Portuguese and French languages.

Over the past 35 years, the University has steadily expanded its reach, both in terms of the number of affiliated colleges - professional and general education numbering to 61, as well as the diversity of courses offered. These colleges offer various courses leading to a degree at graduate, post-graduate level. 12 of them are also recognized as research centres to offer Ph.D. programmes. The University, on its campus, has 1 Centre, 16 Departments and 5 schools. The formation of schools has been done at the start of the academic year 2019-20 with amalgamation of traditional departments to allow organic evolution of new courses. They offer programmes leading to Undergraduate degree (3), Masters degree (35), M.Phil.(20) and Ph.D. degree (25) in various disciplines. In addition, 9 recognised institutions in various disciplines situated in the state of Goa are also recognised for research programmes leading to Ph.D. degree by the University.

About IAPS

International Academy of Physical Sciences (IAPS) was a dream of a group of scientists working in different fields of physical sciences. In view of the growth of scientific-technological knowledge and the experiences of its application for the betterment of human society; they realized that it would be increasingly difficult to draw a dividing line to sharply differentiate between the various branches of Physical Sciences.

Keeping this fact in view they decided to form a common platform for interactive discussions and interdisciplinary approaches among the scientists involved in the pursuit of knowledge in different subjects. International Academy of Physical Sciences was founded with its headquarters at Allahabad on December 4, 1994, to meet the above goals and objectives. This culminated into a foundation conference in which several scientists from different streams deliberated on interdisciplinary approaches towards conflict resolution for world problems. The Academy is conceived as a scientific body incorporating various branches of Physical, Mathematical, and Earth Sciences such as Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Statistics, Geology, Geophysics and Geography, Computer Science, Informatics, Biochemistry, Biophysics, etc. The IAPS is a scientific organization of recent origin but it has already made its mark by involving in it through membership, fellowship, and activities, a large number of scientists of India and abroad, and its publications are helping in the expansion of scientific knowledge.

CONIAPS XXVII is dedicated to share the latest developments in the field of Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Earth Sciences and Applied Biological Sciences. The goal of the conference is to bring together leading researchers to discuss the latest advances in interdisciplinary Sciences and Technology. The focus will also be on the fundamental areas of application with particular emphasis on emerging trends. Talks will encompass basic studies and applications and will address topics of novel issues. The conference will feature keynote addresses, a number of plenary sessions, invited talks and contributed papers in the subject of above areas. Young Scientist awards will be given to the best oral presentations by researchers of age up to 35 years in each major subject. In view of convenience, CONIAPS XXVII is being organized online at 25 reputed Universities/Institutes across India on different topics/themes simultaneously.
