March 23 - 24, 2023
March 23 - 24, 2023
The Financial Innovation Services Lab at Georgia Institute of Technology, and the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta are co-organizing the First Household Finance Conference on March 23-24, 2023.
The conference will be held in person at the Atlanta Fed at 1000 Peachtree St NE, Atlanta, GA.
The importance of understanding financial behavior of households has significantly increased over the years, and more rapidly in recent times, owing to a combination of reasons —rising inflation rates, tighter monetary policy, innovations in consumer finance services, student loan reform, etc. The conference will delve into these issues and facilitate discussions on the future of household and consumer finance.
The objective of this conference is to bring together academic researchers, industry experts, and regulators to a common platform for discussion on important topics in the household and consumer finance. The two-day conference will feature academic sessions, keynote addresses, and practitioner panels with industry executives to discuss the macroeconomic landscape, various issues impacting household balance sheets and the challenges and opportunities to increase financial inclusion.
There is no registration fee or conference fee and meals will be provided.
Registration is closed.
