For more than 100 years, Girl Scouts like you have been helping people and working to make the world a better place.
As a G.I.R.L. (Go-getter, Innovator, Risk-taker, Leader)TM you can use your helping power now and forever to solve problems and make a difference at any age. Big changes can happen when people stand up for their beliefs.
You probably see things every day that you'd like to fix or make better. It can be a big or small problem. The important thing is to do something about it. If you need some help coming up with ideas here is a whole list of community organizations that would like your help.
Please remember that Girl Scouts should wear their uniform or a Girl Scout t-shirt when providing community service.
Know of an organization missing from the list? Email us the organization’s name, your contact there and what community service a Girl Scout troop provided them. We’ll follow-up and see if they want to be included in the directory. Email the information to info@gsbadgerland.org.
If your girls are interested in making an impact with a Take Action project, refer to the FAQ video on our website to see how you can elevate your community service to Take Action.
If you are interested in our Inspiration Project Patch program for community service as a Daisy, Brownie, or Junior Girl Scout, please visit the information sheet on our council patch webpage. For Cadette, Senior and Ambassador Girl Scouts, please refer to the requirements for the Community Service Bar in your Girl's Guide to Girl Scouting.
