This directory is designed to provide California classroom teachers the best one stop site to assist in using geospatial technology in the classroom as an instructional tool. The directory is divided into three sections for easy access to the type of information and resources needed. Each section is accessed by clicking on the banner at the top right of the page.

Applications

This section provides information on tools and applications that students can use to discover information or create digital geographic products. Most of these are interactive.

Practices

This section provides information and materials in the form of either articles, studies, or videos on methods and practices to best use geospatial technologies in the K12 classroom or how geospatial technology is applied in our modern society.

Programs

This section provides information on programs that use geospatial technology in the classroom or by youth organization. The information is in the form of either articles or videos.
