I am a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Institute of Computer Science at the Foundation of Research and Technology - Hellas (FORTH) currently working on the control and optimization of computer systems and quantum computing. In recent years, I also address challenges at the intersection of IoT, Machine Learning and Smart Cities.
Prior to this, I received my Ph.D in Theoretical and Computational Physics as well as my undergraduate degree in Physics from the University of Ioannina. During my doctoral studies, I studied the impacts of disorder, topology, and interactions within condensed matter systems, with an eye towards their connection to quantum computing.
Originally from Athens, I have spent a great amount of time living and working in other Greek cities like Ioannina, Xanthi and now Heraklion.
